 Dawn, disguised as a paparazzi, photographs seagulls at the old Valdez townsite. The recent heavy rains caused water and migrating salmon to flood across the roadbed, and the seagulls were looking for some treats among the dying salmon. We were looking for a suitable painting site, and found a spectacular view from this spot on one of the few nice days of the trip.
